High-end Visual Stimulation for fMRI for 1,5T and 3T
NordicNeuroLab VisualSystem HD is a sophisticated and flexible solution for presenting visual stimuli inside the MR scanner. By displaying sharp images and brilliant colors, high quality graphics or text is presented to the patient.
Provides automated synchronization with the MRI scanner, allowing the operator to focus on the patient.
Includes an extensive library of recommended fMRI paradigms in multiple languages.
Allows functional exams to be performed by a single radiographer.
Paradigms can be adapted to suit your patients with the new nordicAktiva 2.0 Paradigm Builder.
A site-specific training package for fMRI can be provided* in consultation with our team of Application Scientists.
*Additional cost
Upgrade your fMRI Essentials package to an Advanced fMRI package with the addition of nordicBrainEx clinical post processing software.
All the benefits of our fMRI Essentials package, plus:
Easy export of BOLD fMRI, DTI, and Perfusion (DSC and DCE) data as DICOM to PACS, treatment planning, and surgical navigation systems.
DICOM compatible and capable of analyzing data from all major MRI vendors.
Combine BOLD fMRI, DTI, DSC perfusion, and DCE overlays in the same view for an efficient workflow.
**only available for sale in the US
Not only do you get HD resolution, but it’s possbile to render 3D videos.
This opens for new possibilities in clinical fMRI and in research. With a 80% larger field of view, compared to our old VisualSystem, the participant or patient becomes totally immersed in a new world.

The VisualSystem HD has a design which fits a wide range of head coils, and it is easy to mount with coil specific adapters.
The adjustable arm allows fast and precise positioning at the preferred angle of view. The built-in diopter correction and fine-tuning of pupil distance are easy to regulate and customize to each patient, both adult and children.
The VisualSystem HD is an essential part of our premium fMRI package. If your department is looking for all the equipment it needs in order to do fMRI, this is your all-in-one solutions.
This video gives you an overview of the equipment needed.
