In this interview we talk to Dr. Tina Pavlin about the establishment of NNL’s sister-company, NordicImagingLab (NIL), which will focus exclusively on providing MR analysis and visualization solutions for neuroradiologists and neurosurgeons. Tina is the Chief Technology Officer at NIL and will explain how the establishment of NIL will benefit NNL’s customers and what the future relationship between NIL and NNL will be like.

Most importantly, she will talk about NIL’s signature product, nordicMEDiVA, which, unlike nordicICE and nordicBrainEx, is a server-based (thin-client) image analysis platform that will significantly automate the processing of MR image-analysis in the clinics without compromising the diagnostic accuracy and specificity.

With its flexible and scalable architecture, the platform and its associated web-based viewer will also allow clinical researchers to validate novel methods and thus accelerate their adoption in the clinics.
