A robust and reliable technique for post-treatment glioma surveillance?
During RSNA 2019 we had Prof. Sotirios Bisdas at the NordicNeuroLab booth to speak about his research at the Institute of Neurology at University College London.
Using DSC
Prof. Bisdas explains how the DSC-MRI with leakage correction and whole-brain white matter rCBV normalization is a robust and reliable technique for post-treatment glioma surveillance. Additionally, he shows that multiple-time point DSC-MRI exams and DSC-MRI radiomics – enhanced by AI – seem to outperform the radiologist in reporting accuracy and minimize classification error.
