In this version, two new modules, Vessel Architectural Imaging and Multi-Channel analysis, have been added. In addition, several improvements have been done throughout the applications, such as addition of T2 relaxation analysis in batch and improvements to DCE, T1 and T2 relaxation analysis, as well as several minor enhancements and bug fixes.Note! As of this version, the licensing system has been changed. Hence, licenses for v4.1.3 and earlier will not work on v4.2.0 and later. This version includes improvements to the Batch module: Automatic resampling of masks has been added to ROI-analysis. This simplifies the workflow of image analysis using batch functionality. Extraction of pixel values from a ROI has been moved to the ROI analysis sheet.
DWI analysis has been added to the batch module. For DCE analysis, we have added a new kinetic model; the complete two-compartment model without any assumptions made about flow or volume restrictions. This is also included in the incremental model where the model best fitted for the individual pixel is chosen. In addition, an important fix related to version 1709 of Windows 10 (‘Fall Creators Update’) has been introduced. Earlier version of nordicICE will not launch with this version of windows.
In this version of nordicICE, we have introduced a new module – Resting state fMRI. The module is designed for easy and intuitive analysis of resting state image series, allowing for interactive exploration of correlations and thresholding by instantaneous updates of correlation previews. In addition, improvements in Image segmentation and masking, DTI analysis and T1 relaxation analysis have been done. The 4.1.1 revision includes an important fix related to Windows 10 Creators Update.
This revision of nICE contains numerous bug fixes and improvements including 1) Improved support for Philips scaling factors 2) Improvements in batch processing in respect to handling of multiframe enhanced MR files and coregistration of DTI, 3) Improvements to the anonymization functionality of the database, 4) Addition of the possibility of deleting several patients from the database at the same time.
In this version, coregistration in batch has been added. This completes the analysis chain in the batch module: coregistration, preprocessing, analysis of functional data and ROI analysis. In addition we have added the capability of translating a segmented area from pixel edit directly into a ROI, allowing for statistical analysis with fewer steps.
This version contains smaller enhancements and bug fixes. A new method for DWI analysis with multiple b-values has been introduced (simplified IVIM), as well as CBF normalization for ASL. And we have fixed a bug related to the 3D viewer that used to cause problems for some pc’s.
In this version, the possibility of doing ASL analysis in the Batch module has been added. In addition, minor enhancements, such as improvements to the pixel edit functionality and the ROI batch analysis have been added, as well as some minor bug fixes.
Numerous bugs and two functional improvements. In batch one can reformat an arbitrary series into an axial series, and in the ASL module outlier detection has been implemented.
Bug fixes in the batch module and in the DCE module. For example the TE time can now be set in the perfusion settings in the batch module (issue 684#).
